(en) This paper offers a crossing between cartography and literature. It aims to exploit the analogies between two forms of representation of the world. Combining theoretical questions and text analysis, our subject will reveal the cartographic processes that literary works exploit; it will also question fiction itself, the reality effects and the performativity that maps and texts can generate, as well as the political potential that counter-mapping shares with literature. It will thus mirror the "cartogaphical function" of literature and the "artistic function" of cartography.
