We offer exact, simple and explicit analytical expressions for reluctances of T-shaped homogeneous isotropic magnetic circuits with rectangular cross-section. Present study is of very general use as the results apply also to electric and thermal resistances calculation. These expressions are useful in order to compute reluctance of magnetic circuits, and thus also inductances and forces in magnetic devices. Besides, due to a presentation of the solution in three elements which can be interpreted as an lengthening of the adjacent rectilinear legs, this study allows also for simplified magnetic losses calculation in devices with alternating field.
