- Abstract
- For the first time, cutaneous dryness and ichthyosis-like aspects are noted in a baby afflicted with Goldenhar’s syndrome. Cardiopulmonary malformations are frequently described in those cases of oculo-auriculo-vertebral dysplasia (DOAV). A florid form of this syndrome is reported and the most important symptoms commented upon. Generally sporadic, the syndrome is, except in few cases, not genetically transmitted; it is thought to be closely related to the first or the two first branchial arch syndromes.
