- We report the case of a man aged 39 who received several injections of mineral oil in his pectoral muscles 20 years ago. Supposedly, the purpose of the injections was to improve the aesthetic appearance as well as the strength of the muscles. The final result was the development of impressive symmetrical paraffinomas. A short review of the recent literature on paraffinomas is presented.
