- Both for the future of the residual dental crown and in order to work efficiently in the canals, preparation of the pulp chamber should be regarded as more than a mere stage. Although it is only a transitory stage, it is essential that the pulp chamber should be clean and well cleared without wasting healthy dental tissue. A good access, without excess, will increase the chances of success.
