Abstract
This invited keynote aims at 1)questioning the rational-actor paradigm by criticizing the information deficit model, 2) show relevant sociological, anthropological and psychological factors that should be taken into account when evaluating the effectiveness of information programmes aimed at household energy conservation, and 3) propose alternatives (this last part is based on Stoknes, 2014).
