(en) [Oral management of an anhidrotic ectodermal dysplasia case or Christ Siemens Touraine Syndrome] Christ Siemens Touraine syndrome is the most frequent ectodermal dysplasia. It is characterized by a congenital absence of sweat glands, resulting in impaired thermal regulation and accompanied by a total or partial anodontia. The « grown old » facies of affected individuals is characteristic with a decrease in the vertical occlusion dimension. Aesthetic and functional resulting damage can lead to psychological development trouble with the rejection of affected children by their environment. Hence the interest of aesthetic and functional prosthetic rehabilitation. This reported case shows the implementation and the benefit of that rehabilitation for patients.
