Abstract
Protein-protein interactions play a crucial role in many bacterial cell processes. miniTurbo-based proximity labeling has emerged as a powerful tool for the identification of in vivo protein networks in bacteria. In this chapter, we outline a standardized protocol for implementing miniTurbo-dependent proximity labeling in bacterial models. This approach enables the unbiased identification of interacting and proximal proteins under native conditions, providing valuable insights into bacterial cell physiology.
