(en) This study has introduced a novel perspective on corporate entrepreneurship by differentiating between its dispersed and focused types. It further implemented a social-exchange approach to corporate entrepreneurship by combining the individual and process dimensions. The findings of this study allow arguing in favor of a teleological process nature of the dispersed corporate entrepreneurship, and formulating several important implications for the field of research. Two further contributions of this thesis include providing the repertoire of types of corporate entrepreneurial activities; and empirical validation and adaptation of the Floyd and Lane (2000) model to the dispersed corporate entrepreneurship. Both of them help clarify the nature of the dispersed corporate entrepreneurial behaviors and allow answering the long-standing call from the field demanding for studying and documenting the specific activities of corporate entrepreneurs. A number of implications for the practitioners and academic community is discussed.
