- Abstract
- (en) This research deals with the social and cultural stakes bounded to the actual economic migrations said as "Rumanian Roma" in Europe. The approach in long term fieldwork (from 2006 till 2012) and multisitued (between the historic region of Crisana in Romania and the Lyon urban district, in France) constitues the basis of this ethnographic study. It seems indeed that, far from representing an antisocial or criminal population, romani people in migration participate to a surrounding world while developing the conditions of a collective life in an incidental way, from here to there. This work constitues a cornerstone in the approach of contemporary social forms, or still qualified as "anthropological world", for their adaptative and long-lasting quality in mobilities and globalized changes context. This study could finally offer some understanding elements about one of the major "crises" which shakes the western world, in loss of marks today.
