Abstract
Throughout this article, our objective is to display and explain mechanisms that impact the progress of a man in a “feminine” professional context. We systematize the knowledge of the conditions and processes associated with the entry of men into so-called “feminine” professions or occupations in Western countries in the early 21st century, and also with their continuance, development and identity construction in such occupations.
