Abstract
Barbiellini, Richter and Siegrist (Phys. Lett. B. vol.106, p.414, 1981) have examined, from an experimental point of view, the possibility of determining the number of neutrinos via radiative neutrino production in the e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilation and reached the conclusion that it was an eminently practical method. That idea had already been suggested by Ma and Okada (1978) and Gaemers, Gastmans and Renard (1978). The authors point out two effects which could modify the results obtained in those papers. First, a necessary modification of the Breit-Wigner form for the Z/sub 0/ vector boson propagator around the resonance and, secondly, the corrections induced by a possible close degeneracy between the Z/sub 0/-boson and a vector qq macr bound state.
