Abstract
The energy spectra of low energy protons scattered from a single crystal silicon sample have been measured in various experimental conditions. The incident and scattering angles and the primary proton beam energy have been varied. The evolution of the shape of the scattering H/sup +/ spectra and of their integrated intensity are discussed as a function of these parameters.
