Several options are currently available for the preservation of fertility: embryo cryopreservation, oocyte cryopreservation, and ovarian tissue cryopreservation. The choice of the most suitable strategy for preserving fertility depends on different parameters: the indication, the type and timing of gonadotoxic treatment, the patient's age and the partner status. In this chapter, the different fertility preservation methods, their limitations and efficacy are reviewed.
