Abstract
How can children’s literature help us to better understand children’s representation? I will here present how I use youth literature as a tool to grasp the difference between Denmark, with H.C. Andersen and the competent child; andFrance with the representation of the wolf and the immature (brain) child. In that perspective, I will also wonder about the relevance of tales in the study of rituals.
