Abstract
(en) [Bone sarcoidosis : a case report referring to extensive bone involvement – resonance magnetic imaging-confirmed and regressive under immunosuppressive therapy] Bone sarcoidosis is a rare condition, preferentially affecting the small bones of the hands and feet. We report the case of a patient with prior pulmonary and ocular sarcoidosis, who – after corticosteroid discontinuation - developed extensive axial and appendicular skeletal involvement, in addition to hepatosplenic lesions. The diagnosis was confirmed by liver and bone biopsies. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was the most sensitive test in assessing skeletal involvement, whereas positron emission tomography (PET) remained negative
