Abstract
The authors describe special fibre structures of YBCO obtained by fine tuning of the different steps of the sol-gel method. During the formation of the oxide from highly mixed precursors, the particles are shown to have a fibrous structure, and during the sintering there is successive association of these fibres, thus forming solid particles that are partially oriented.
