Abstract
In this article we begin with a brief review of some concepts and transformations of liberation theology. In the second section we will see some examples of the problematization that was made of sexuality in the theology of the liberation of the first wave. The criticism and contributions of queer theology to the theology of liberation are developed in the third part. Following the coordinates of decolonial thinking, we show some ways of living sexuality in Latin America before the Spanish colonization. In these ways it is possible to find contributions to live a sexuality outside the ideology denounced in queer theology.
