Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for producing into the extracellular medium a biomolecule of interest, the method comprising the steps of: (a) culturing a recombinant microorganism co-expressing: - the mutant pIVS324G porine into the outer membrane of the microorganism, and - a recombinant biomolecule of interest into the periplasm of the microorganism, thereby secreting the biomolecule of interest into the extracellular medium; and (b) recovering the biomolecule of interest from the extracellular medium.
