Abstract
The experiment is aimed at a precise determination of the induced pseudoscalar form factor F-P in mu(-)-capture on O-16 nuclei via a measurement of the polarization observables P-av, P-L and T-2(0) The method uses the beta-decay asymmetry as an analyzer of the spin orientation of the produced N-16 nuclei. Several tests were performed in order to find optimal conditions for measurement with stack targets, sensitive to the recoil direction of the N-16 nuclei. In addition the possibility of measuring P-av using of a water-based target has been investigated.
