Au début du XXe s., T. Sinko estimait que Nicéphore Calliste Xanthopoulos était un imitateur du style de Grégoire de Nazianze, notamment en raison de son usage marqué de la σύγκρισις. La présente étude aborde cette affirmation avec de nouveaux outils, comme la concordance lemmatisée, en se focalisant sur l'Histoire Ecclésiastique de NCX.
