Abstract
(en) In our pluralistic, complex and evolutive world, how to be the Church of Jesus Christ, the Community of the disciples of Jesus? Which dimensions of the Church should be emphasized to answer in a relevant way to the big challenges of plurality and solidarity in the present world? The author proposes four dimensions in a priority order: a missionary Church, a Church in ecumenical dialogue, a Church in exile and diaspora (with the provocative demand of catholicity), a Church-Communio Ecclesiarum (with a "Holy Synod" around the pope).
