In this paper we describe the results of a brief multilingual experiment in which a small text has been generated in English German and Dutch Generation was on the basis of a multilingual architecture based on functional typology The experiment has shown that this design allows the cumulative addition of other languages in our case more particularly a Dutch language component without revising the overall system and with much reuse of resources across languages
