- Abstract
- (en) The discourse of 8 polyaddicted women regarding their own thoughts is analyzed. Their stories mark a significant distinction between thoughts referring to the present versus those referring to the past, the latter being those that occupy a preponderant place in the psychic economy and the mental space of women. Their stories mark the field of thought and the consumption of substances appears as a way out, pathological, in the face of the difficulty in being able to think and the pain produced by a past that does not pass.
