Abstract
Inhalation of drugs is very efficacious for the treatment of lung diseases and a continuously increasing number of inhaled drugs are becoming available on the market. Inhalation of drugs allows a targeted therapy with high drug concentrations in the tissue of interest. This entry provides information about the advances in pulmonary delivery of peptides and proteins used in both local and systemic therapy
