Systemic work with abusive families. - It is not easy to determine all the questions which emanate from the vast field of the intrafamily abuse-treatments. The complexity is such that, at any new meeting, the clinicians will have to adapt their way of working, their representations, to the singularity of the individuals involved, whether they are children or adults. The article develops, through a clinical description, two concepts, namely the partnership envelope and the structural systemic approach. These two aspects define, in a certain way, the container and the content in the process of working with abuse-transaction families.
