Abstract
The invention relates generally to a device suitable for the investigation of ligand-receptor interactions by attenuated total reflection (ATR) spectroscopy, comprising an ATR element, transparent in the infrared, wherein at least one surface of said ATR element is provided with a sample compartment comprising at least two chambers, wherein each chamber is in direct communication with at least part of said ATR element surface. The invention also relates to a method for analyzing several samples in parallel and to the use of the device for the analysis of at least two samples. The invention also relates to a compound useful for the grafting of an ATR element and a method to prepare said compound.
