- Abstract
- The presentation aims to describe the risks associated with gender discrimination in the area of subordinate employment, the prevention measures adopted and the associated sanctions defined by Law. In particular, it discusses the evolution of women conditions in the work place and, in parallel, the consequent development of the labour law preventing gender discrimination. Concluding, it introduces the “Codice delle pari opportunità” and the measures that the code sets forth in trying to close the gender discrimination gap in the Society.
