Abstract
(en) The aim of this thesis is to develop decision support tools that could help private and public decision-makers to identify and to implement sustainable managementstrategies for different resources. Sustainable management refers to a form of man­agement that is environmentally, socially and economically sustainable and thus, results in complex multicriteria decision-making problems. Moreover, the unpre- dictable or uncertain data involved in sustainable management strategies motivate an approach by fuzzy decision théories.In the first part of this thesis, we présent and motivate the general framework of our research. On one hand, we investigate how decision-making problems related to the choice of sustainable management strategies can be tackled by using multicrite­ria decision models and fuzzy sets’ concepts, i.e. more precisely, multiobjective fuzzylinear programming models. On the other hand, we identify and detail the various concepts and notions needed to deal with the related mathematical problems.In the second part of this thesis, we develop first a new method to propose robustsolutions to multiobjective fuzzy linear programming problems involving risk. For this purpose, the robustness of the solutions (i.e. the decrease of uncertainties of the objectives’ values with respect to uncertainties of the data) is considered and the risk associated with the solutions (i.e. the possible danger or drawback caused by the objectives’ values or the constraints’ violations as compared with the expected values for these objectives and constraints by the decision-maker) is quantified and included in the mathematical model of the problem. This part of the thesis considers the use of crisp decision variables for our decision problems. Finally, the developed method is applied to two real-life decision-making problems. The first application consists in supporting the choice of a sustainable crops’ planning in a simplifiedagro-ecosystem and the second application consists in supporting the choice of a sustainable electrical energy planning in a simplified Belgian energy sector.In the third part of this thesis, we propose first a new method that considers the use of fuzzy decision variables for solving multiobjective fuzzy linear program­ming problems where the decision variables sum up to a constant. Our method supplies the decision-maker with fuzzy solutions and assists him in the choice of crisp decisions among these fuzzy solutions, since the final decisions taken by the decision-maker are always crisp. Finally, the proposed method is applied to the choice of a sustainable multi-components heating System for a house.
