Abstract
The main objective of the methodology for recalculation of the population is to provide better estimates of the national annual population figures during the intercensal period, based on the new population figures available through the most recent census. This study was commissioned by the EFTA secretariat and Eurostat from Mr. Michel Poulain (GéDAP- Université catholique de Louvain) and Mrs. Anne Herm (Statistical Office of Estonia).
