Abstract
The question for the school violence continues increasing the restlessness of the community and of the investigators, since the establishment of it as a disciplinary problem three decades ago. However, great part of these researches has been centered in the statistical incidence of the phenomenon and in its decisive factors, leaving aside in a large part of them, the actors’ own representations. The present article seeks to respond to the query for the sense of the school violence, extracted from a qualitative methodology study, where the speech and representations of Chilean high school students, considerate aggressive and problematic by their educational institutions, were analyzed.
