Abstract
(en) This PhD Thesis studies the grammaticalization of French and Dutch preverbs. It applies morpho-syntactic and semantic parameters to put French and Dutch preverbs on a cline of "prefixization", analyzing their evolution from prepositions into prefixes. It provides detailed case studies of the preverbs sur-/op-, over-, entre-/tussen- and contre-/tegen-.
