- Abstract
- (en) The Welfare state is under scrutiny since it generates implicit privatisations measures. In the health sector, those measures are translated by a "transfert of responsibilities” towards the patient who becomes accountable of his consumption and of what is described as his "uncorrect sanitary behavior". We will demonstrate that it is possible to go out of these failures of transfert of responsibilities and from a merit perspective by a deconstruction of the conditions and principles that generate them: reification of human relations, denial of human finitude, struggle and concurrence, disrespect of each one towards himself and the others. We propose to reconstruct an alternative founded on care for oneself and recognition, existential awareness and care for others that allows fostering in everyone an ontological freedom originating a space of capabilities and responsibilities at the individual and collective level. We call it "capacitating responsibility ". This process aims at challenging the subjects that we are on the positivity of merit model when one produces ‘prosystemic’ negative models when he is the object of physical or mental weaknesses. This awareness should make everyone conscient of a common humanity that would invite to rethink the conditions of the refoundations of solidarity
