Fully differential to total cross-sections (TCSs) have been previously calculated for double ionization (DI) of helium-like ions by electron impact. The results were obtained within the framework of the shake-off model, using a wave function with radial correlation only for the bound electrons and a Coulomb double-continuum wave function for the ejected electrons. In the present work, angular correlation between bound electrons is taken into account and fourfold differential cross-section (4DCS) and TCSs are calculated for DI of helium-like ions. Influence of angular correlation on the 4DCS and on the TCSs is discussed. (C) 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
