- Child abuse never leaves indifferent. But professionals are inevitably faced with theoritical and ethical questions raised in clinical practice. The article treats these challenges in three situations. What are the skills required in this practice? What are the dangers entailed? Identification to the child, to the adult and avoidance are frequently encountered. How are they dealt with ? Without being exhaustive, the author's 15 years of experience in this field lead him to propose a few guidelines : the clinician's personal solidity, his creativity, his adaptability. Finally, the notion of a professional network is developed as an accompanying technique in these contexts.
