Recent contributions to international trade theory tend to underline the impact of a set of factors expressing the key elements of domestic ,as; well as foreign market structure upon experts: the size of firms and scale economies in the national production of a good, industrial concentration, product differenciantion, the amount and type of information at the disposal of market participants, the alternative forms of international trade, including direct investment and licencing, are new elements that various authors have attempted to introduce into traditional explanations of comparative advantage (see especially Basevi ( 1970), Caves (1974), Caves and Khalilzadeh-Shirazi( 1977), Drèze ( 1960), Frenkel (1971), Hufbauer (1970), Johnson (1967), Linder (1961).
