- In 1966, six years after the formation of the Oulipo group and in the very different context of Cuban Revolution, a 14 poets group gathered together around a journal, The Bearded Caiman, the cultural supplement of Young Communist Union’s journal. What characterizes them both in their texts and in their social fabrication is a propensity in the game without border. The fact that this official poetic youth puts the game at the hearth of her practices may appear to be paradoxical. Don’t we expect more gravity in the case of the bards of the Revolution ? I propose two keys of understanding of this paradox. By considering at first their games of rules (based on strong constraints) as an answer to the disturbance on one hand of the literary field in full reconstruction, and, on the other hand, to the metric disturbance which define the colloquialism, the dominant poetic movement in Latin America then. My second hypothesis concerns the type of interaction that these games institute with the reader : the saturation of quotation and references to literary or political hypotexts in the form of games (riddles, puzzles, pastiches) shape a horizon of expectation at the reader who moved then in researcher of indications. I shall lean here on the metatextuel theory of Bernard Magné defined as a « autonomous reading pedagogy » and « writing pedagogy » which take its sense with the prospect of writing workshops for example and of a will more globally educative peculiar to the program of the Cuban Revolution. My study will also envisage kinships of structures between the oulipian group and the bearded caimans. It will polarize on the study of the texts of Luis Rogelio Nogueras, Cuban Pérec red-haired person, the most important author of the group.
