The discussion New Climates in Brussels addresses the future of the city through the lens of public space transformation. Starting with an exchange on recent changes in various public spaces—parks, streets, gardens, and squares—the conversation will broaden to explore what is at stake in the social and spatial transformation of public space, and what political discussions are needed for both the short- and long-term future. For this discussion we brought together Brussels’ key actors from professional, academic, public administration, and civic or associative spheres.
