Abstract
My paper underlines the challenge of religious diversity on State funding of religious and non-confessional organisations, especially in Belgium. The system of funding of organisations has never been questioned in the 19th century but since the 20th, with the recognition and funding of new religions – such as Orthodoxy and Islam – it raises some important questions in Constitutional Law.
