Abstract
(en) The narrative, diplomatic and liturgical documentation shows several transfers of relics from Cambrai and its neighbourhood towards Saxony at the end of the 940's; they concern in particular the saints Aubert, Géry, Madelberte, Maxellende and perhaps also the enigmatic saint Saturnine. Contrary to the transfer of relics during the Carolingian period that showed the integration of Saxony into the Frankish empire, the transfers of the xth century reveal an opposite movement: the marked anchorage of Lotharingia in the Ottonian political region.
