- (en) Historically, antievolutionism was the first cause that brought together conservative American Protestants in a potent social movement striving to maintain the Religious dimension of Society. Throughout its various evolutions, creationism replicated this same gesture, urging believers towards fundamentalism, but also towards political radicalization, in a battle seeking to reverse the secularization of the public sphere. This research follows the circulation of creationism within different national contexts (USA, Switzerland) and social spheres (Religious, Academic, Political), in order to show its globalized dimension. It shows that this ideology inclined evangelicals towards theocratic ideas, in the name of the dominion on the world that God would have given to mankind in the Creation moment
