Abstract
At the IIIrd Pondera Online Workshop, I presented the very first results and hypotheses of the PhD thesis I had begun two months before. With a corpus of about 400 weights, I demonstrated that those weights can be classify in two categories: "Atypical weights" and "Standardised weights". This typology helps us to understand the context of use of these objects. On the basis of this understanding, we can start to identify the actors involved in the use of weights.
