Abstract
(en) The article presents the ecclesiological assessment of Lumen Gentium by two Orthodox theologians, Nikos Nissiotis and John Meyendorff. Both emphasize the full equality of bishops amongst themselves, without exception, the unbreakable link between the bishop and his entire local Church and the sacramental (Eucharistic) and Catholic fullness of each local Church. They doubt, however, that the conciliar document is fully consistent on these points.
