Abstract
Populations of two critical Ophrys taxa from the O. fusca and O. omegaifera groups were studied and examined using multivariate morphometric analyses. They are described as new species. Ophrys pintoi looks like a miniature O. fusca and grows, sometimes in extensive populations, in central Portugal. Ophrys lenae is probably a paleohybrid originating from O. fusca and O. dyris; it grows in a restricted area in central Portugal
