Abstract
This presentation aims at providing an overview of the general context in which the adoption of the CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive) takes place. It examines the EU’s environmental agenda and the Green Deal, and then underlines the general territorial extension of EU’s environmental legislation in the past years. I then briefly presents the environmental aspects of the CSDDD.
