Abstract
Ce chapitre présente la base de données prosopographique « Belgian Magistrates ». Il revient sur les choix techniques réalisés pour répondre à diverses contraintes telles que la dimension évolutive des données ou la gestion de données imprécises, voire contradictoires. Il présente la structure en quatre parties de la base de données et diverses fonctionnalités de l’application avant d’exposer les défis qu’a posée l’extension du cadre spatio-temporel à l’Etat indépendant du Congo, au Congo Belge et au Ruanda-Urundi.
