- Abstract
- The "Dictionary of Spirituality" is an encyclopedia used by researchers in religious studies and Divinity. Its digital version allows the researcher to make some revisions to existing articles (or entries) or write new entries. The dictionary embodies the domain ontology on which each researcher can create a local ontology that reflects his own vision of some part of the domain ontology. All the ontologies (domain or local) must be integrated in a modeling architecture. This architecture requires software engineering, document engineering, artificial intelligence to align ontologies and infer new knowledge. On the other hand, in order to foster collaboration between researchers, the alignment of local ontologies must detect researchers groups in some fields of religious history to form social sub-networks.
