Abstract
this study aims to test the possibility of employing the vis-NIR spectral information of a small portable multispectral camera for the quantitative prediction of organic carbon content in Mediterranean soils. This is done by comparing Partial Least Squared Regression (PLSR) model performances on traditional laboratory-based spectra and spectral data acquired in outdoor conditions. It also test the stability of model performances from repeated measures under different sky conditions.
