(en) DEAR EDITOR, We would like to report the evolution of a male infant born to a mother with giant placenta. An 18 years old G1P0 mother, with a previously uneventful pregnancy, was referred to our university hospital at 30 weeks gestational age for fetal growth restriction with an estimated fetal weight of 1011 g (<P1) and severe oligohydramnios, diagnosed at the third trimester ultrasound. The scan also showed a thick placenta with numerous cysts. The previous two ultrasounds showed normal fetal growth, but a thickened placenta. [...]
