- (en) Normativity in psychoanalysis: A critique. – The author homes in on normative tendencies in psychoanalysis by reviewing its proponents’ perspectives on bisexuality, homosexuality, »neosexuality,« the Oedipus complex (and its demise), and »genital« sexuality. She calls for an eschewal of these tendencies, arguing that this would enable psychoanalysis to become a force for critical inquiry and enlightenment in the debate on contemporary forms of sexuality and family structure. In her remarks the author engages principally with Freud and Laplanche.
